How 222 nm Far-UVC Works

The Science Behind Far-UVC

What Is 222 nm Far-UVC? 222 nm Far-UVC light, produced by krypton-chloride lamps, destroys viruses and bacteria by damaging their DNA/RNA. Unlike conventional 254 nm UV, it penetrates only a few micrometers of dead skin or tissue, making it safe around animals and staff.

Installation & Operation

IP66-rated fixtures easily mount to barn ceilings.

Low power consumption: only 20 W per unit.

Control options: automated timers or manual monitoring via app/SCADA.
